@#$%#$. Shoot. Just posted this and it went into a black hole somewhere, so apologies in advance if it turns up as a double post.
I saw this one on ebay with a $150 BIN and no scan. I asked the seller to email a scan and she added it to the auction instead. For some unfathomable reason, I was at home at 2:00 on a weekday afternoon and saw it had been added and hit the BIN in about 2 seconds. I bundled it with something else and traded it to Toby for my 1933 Goudey Ruth Red, which remains one of the centerpieces of my collection.
Every time there is a thread about best ebay deal or best trade I post this same old story. It's still my best ebay steal and my only trade ever, but I'm so thrilled with it that every time I post about it it feels like it happened yesterday.

Ditto - Great to see you here Ted! I really appreciate your call to me from the National about the E90-1 Jackson when I was collecting them. I can't remember why I didn't buy it at the time, but have regretted it ever since. It was like we both knew it was a great deal, but didn't jump on it for some reason.

Jacklitsch - you are correct - I have to learn to pull the trigger. I use to do that readily and got some great deals (including a nice T215 Red Cross Type I Cobb Bat Off Shoulder for a grand). However, I did get ripped off doing it one time - bought a fake E97 Young when the scan was blurry and looked good on eBay (turned out to be a computer print out on paper). Ever since, I have been a little more careful on higher dollar cards - in this case, too careful!
