I'm back
Hello guys,
My computer crashed and I lost my log ins to everything. I finally got around to checking to see what it was, so I am back to show what came in the mail today.
Take care,
Bob

That's a great looking card for a 2! Nice pickup.
Is there paper loss on the back that led it to be graded so low?

Missing some paper
Yep,
This card has some scratches on his Duff. What do you guys think about a cross over on this one?
Thanks,
Bob

Personally, I prefer my prewar cards in SGC slabs. I think they have a better reputation and I like the way the slabs look better. As for crossing it over, do it if you would be doing it for similar reasons. If you are trying to get a higher grade, I doubt that you would get it from SGC. They are notoriously harsh on paper loss - usually more so than PSA. Great card, though!

I know he is in a good home now. After purchasing the Cobb Red Cycle 460 I certainly didn't need 2. Glad you enjoy it.

I always laugh at those hats with the really tiny bill, why bother? It is great to see baseball styles from different eras.

Managed to pick up three of the Topping postcards last night. I was way off on Mr. Cobb.

Not nearly as cool as that O.J., but I picked up another one for my Goudey HOF set.
