Heritage and 19thCenturyOnly Auctions Open
I was browsing today and noticed some pretty impressive cards in the current Heritage Auction. Cards start on page 10. There will probably be a bunch of good deals to be had, given the current state of the economy. N173s, tough type cards, and a motherload of Star Player Candies including a Ruth are all there
And 19thcenturyonly just opened as well, selling off a huge collection of mostly PCL items including some T4's, a ton of E270's and D310's, some scarce Oakland Oaks cards, etc. I had an exchange with the owner of this collection prior to his decision to consign - very nice guy and I think he made a good decision to have Seth feature the collection on his site.

got a catalog from huggins & scott also, so their auction is running. does seem like heritage always have some fresh stuff, and seth got the nice pcl...but mostly nowadays it's the same cards going around the block dressed in a different holder etc. i don't know if the supply is running out but the top auction houses will always get the most unique stuff, while the mid-tiered gets the recycled junk. i haven't had the the desire to buy anything for a few months and i'm loving the feeling.

Quan...
is that because of the economy or the lack of desire to purchase vintage cards.
By the way, was that your W600 Ed Delahanty PSA 4 in Goodwin that sold last week?

mark yea the latter. i don't have the drive to track these cards anymore, figuring whether a psa3 e90-1 jax used to be an sgc A or a psa2 speaker is now an sgc40 speaker. i'm over it.
yes the delahanty was mine. seems like you see less of those than the duke cabinet.

I don't remember ever seeing so many high grade caremel cards. Heritage has a SGC 88 E93 Wagner only a few weeks after the PSA 9 E93 Wagner sold in Memory Lane. Both Heritage and Mile High have high grade E93s.

heritage always have some cool stuff, i just hate their sales tax and high bp! almost 30% unless you have friends bidding for you.
