Great Ruth Quan
I do have one question though, How do you tell if it's a M101-5 or M101-4 if it's a blank Back. One card is a year earlier than the other. I forget which, maybe Todd can weigh in.

T215-1 Lee Tannehill

First T215-1 I've ever owned and the first Red Cross I've had since I sold my T215-2 Konetchy a year or two ago.

Re: September Pickups
jerry,
yea from what i remember the blank backs were in both issues so u can't differentiate the 5/4. some other backs like the S/N or F&B u can definitely tell. todd/wes/rman have told me this many times before but after hitting the big 30 i tend to forget more stuff.
also i don't think the m101-5/4 were made in consecutive years. one before the season starts and the other during or toward the end? kinda like a 1989 topps set, and an '89 topps traded set.

Awesome Ruth Card!
Quan,
I've always wanted to own that type of Ruth but could never find one graded SGC10/1.5. IF you're ever considering selling the card let me know, anyways congratulations on the pick up!

Very nice pick-ups guys...
Quan...I know i told you this before, a T206 Plank PSA 5 is available by a friend of mine. He is looking to maybe sell it...as for price, i can get you in contact with him if you like.
Nice Ruth by the way, i am glad to see SGC cross that over with no problem.

Nice Ruth, Quan
I always enjoy looking at that card. You can probably call it whatever you like as far as m101-4 or m1015, as they are identical. I would say, however, that m5s are usualy more toned and yellowed than what appears in your scans, although scans can be adjusted (even your GAI example looks a little more toned than the SGC to me). If I had it in my hand with a few dozen other m101s, I could say more certainly which set I think it comes from, but I'd gues from what I see that yours is m101-4.

yes, I see what you're saying. Don't know how I missed it before. Nice, even toning, some of which actually made the holder--you don't see that every day.

Re: September Pickups
Just completed a huge deal with Dan McKee. Over 70 cards changed hands in the deal. I put a nice dent in the t205 set with the deal. Here a few and is generally how all the cards look
