Guessing game...

Post by Square_Frame_Ramly on Mon May 12, 2008 1:56 pm

Wish i had a decent card to give away for this little guessing game but i am down to only a few cards in my collection. They are kind of higher priced cards so i don't want to give them away. insane

Well, this M131 Baltimore Newsboys Honus Wagner is very nice and i could just imagine what the final price will be. So i thought a little guessing thread may be in order. Very easy, just post a price. Maybe Ben can come up with a icon to give for the closest WITHOUT going over.

My Guess.... $11,975

$8288.
Not everyone will bid up an M-card.
Too far out of the mainstream.
But it doesn't take more than a couple.

affraid

I was right on track.
The auction simply lasted three hours too long. soapbox

It looks like $18,778 is the record for a M131 and maybe the highest price from this find. The seller has yet to list the Cobb, but that one is graded only fair condition, so I am guessing it will sell for less than the Wagner. Personally, I like the pose of the Wagner better since the image is not recycled like the Cob pose which is also used on the E93 and E98 sets.

What Stumpy want, Stumpy get. Twisted Evil

Actually Richard's a pretty nice guy. I got my M131 Murray from him earlier this year.
