Full Count Trader Points

A new points based system has been added to reward successful BST transactions on Full Count. If you look under your avatar, you'll see a bar with a point total next to it (between 0-100). One point will be awarded for every successful transaction on Full Count (buying, selling, or trading). Trader points will only be rewarded for transactions taken place on Full Count, not on ebay or any other venue.

IMPORTANT: to receive your trader points, simply send myself or Jay a private message, or post "transaction complete" in the corresponding thread (if there was one). At that point we will reward each party a trader point, and lock the relevant BST thread just so the other mods know which transactions have already been awarded points. Negative points can be added for poor transactions or poor BST etiquette, and that's unlikely to ever happen.

I am currently going through all the BST categories to reward points retroactively. It won't be easy to account for each transaction already completed (I'll do my best), but I will surely do so for all future transactions as long as you confirm them as I described above. If I miss something, all you have to do is PM me.

Also keep in mind, (1) point is awarded for a transaction between two parties, not for each individual card bought sold or traded.

Good question, I should have been more explicit on that. Please post your successful transaction as a reply to the original BST post - where the card was first listed. I'll edit my initial post to make that more clear. Thanks.

And these points, can we trade tham in for cash or exciting prizes !!!
Or are they more like the stars, which we just strut around with .....

Think of them more as a feedback system. If you choose to deal with someone with a high point total, you already know that they've completed a good number of successful transactions on the forum and can be trusted in future dealings. The forum is still relatively young and most of us know and trust each other now - but as it grows and more new faces participate in the BST, the trader points will be a useful reference tool.

It's also a nice way to reward people for good deals in BST and to encourage more activity there in the future.

Trader points have been updated. PM me if I've missed anything.

I'm going to un-sticky this thread now, but please PM me if I ever miss anyone's points. As long as everyone follows up a deal with a post that the transaction was successful, I should be able to have everyone's points accounted for.

edited to say: If your completed BST thread has NOT been locked, that means NO points have been given out on the transaction yet.

There have been a few questions about Trader Points from newer members lately, so I've bumped/stickied this thread to clarify the system for them.

If you've had any recent transactions with a board member and haven't been awarded a point for it, just let me know.

You can let Ben, me or Mark know. We can all update the points. It doesn't have to be a trade either, it can be sale for cash or something else as long as a transaction took place

I just wanted to give this thread a bump to let people now that are not aware of the trader point system on Full Count.

Just a reminder to our members to PM one of the mods (myself, Jay, Mark) when you've completed a deal with another board member. That way we can top up your trader points. Purchases, sales, and trades all qualify for TP's so make sure to let us know.
