Chat box time

Just a quick idea to run by. I was thinking that we could make designated times for chatbox sessions. That way, people won't have to wait for others to join. They would always have someone to talk to.

I like that idea, arandy. We actually had our first forum wide chat a few months ago, and had plans of doing it again. How does this Sunday night 9:00 PM EST sound for Forum Wide Chat V2.0?

I'll usually hang out in the chatroom if I'm not doing anyhting else. No one wants to be the first one there, ehich always makes it tough to get a good session going. Once someone is there. Someone else will usually drop in and then things snowball from there. More people just need to be the first to hang out and draw people in there.

Another option if you are on the site and you see others are there just PM them to go the chat, I get notice of PM's right away on my email. Jerry and I did that last night.

A few of us actually showed up just a few moments after you had left. You were even still signed in to the chat when we got there (it automatically logs you out if you're inactive for 15 minutes, unless you log out manually).

I think Lee's suggestion is a good one. If you see someone online and you're in the chat, just send them a quick PM. Or we could try another scheduled chat for sometime this week or next. It's up to you guys.
