Nice Grove Todd. What's up with the green stripe on the back?

Well Ben,
I will let Gil elucidate, as I am a greenhorn when it comes to W517s and was only looking for a nice Grove for my HOF type set, whereas he has studied the subject thoroughly. It is my understanding, though, that the green stripe entitled the holder to a candy prize.

not happy with SGC
some of u may know my dislike of sgc, especially 3-4 years back. i thought they were wildly inconsistent and either grossly undergraded or overgraded...and i got a couple big stinkers (which i sold and the card doubled in price the next day so i never got a replacement). lately they've been ok but here's one with some surface wear, of course i got a tiny ebay scan so i was buying the holder
.
