Keep it one pick?

Post by sabrjay on Tue Feb 12, 2013 12:50 am

The draft has been moving at a good pace this year. I'm thinking that keeping at one pick per round wouldn't be a bad idea this year.

Pace has been good but the draft is still LONG. Prefer two picks the last few rounds. Actually looked this up recently; the longest draft was 2012 which lasted from Jan 16 - Feb 28, the quickest 2010 from Feb 1 - Feb 25. Damn, I need another hobby yawn .

Four people haven't voted yet. If it stay this way we will just keep with single picks.

I think I just cancelled my vote, I would suggest maybe a compromise that we keep it single picks till Round 21 and then polish it off real fast at the end with double picks? Everyone still seems to have some needs to fill over the next four picks...

Also, I think the soonest we could equitably move to two picks per round would be Round 17 bc otherwise it screws over the guys further back in the draft order.

Round 21 is probably a good compromise. 4 picks left and the last pick can finish off his roster in one fell swoop.
