What prewar card images (non-photographic) do you think capture the player's persona best?

My choices are very mainstream: n162 kelly, d304 cobb, and t206 young (glove shows), was interested in what you guys would pick.

n172 Radbourn flipping the bird. I know, it's a photo but it's the quintissential essence of Radbourn. For Cobb, I prefer the t227. The 1934 Gehrig portrait.

Yeah T227 is a good choice for Cobb. Card that looks least like Cobb? T206 bat on.

Card that least looks like Cobb... definitely the w512! Looks like a third-grader drew them, okay first-grader. Also any and all cards in the w513 set, especially Paul Waner, bear little resemblance to the players they depict. Best strip card image Joe Jacksons' w514.

Jackson's W514 is a sweet card, it was my first "big" pickup I made when I started collecting prewar in 2001. BINed one for a cool $150 Cool Definitely an exception when it comes to W card likenesses.

Here is my vote for a Cobb:

Card aesthetics: images that capture the player? T2021212

For Walter Johnson, the Exhibit of him throwing.
