Great start to the 2012 NASCAR season!

What a week for NASCAR fans. Kyle Busch saves his car sideways at 195 mph, twice, to win the Budweiser Shootout. Danica Patrick became the first woman to win a Pole Position in the Nationwide Series since Shawna Robinson (1994, Atlanta). James Buescher was in 11th around turn 4 on the final lap of the Nationwide race when a ten car pileup in front of him led to his victory. Truck series newbie John King won the biggest race of his career, at Daytona, in only his eighth career start.... and today THE premier event of the season, the Daytona 500!

Only one problem; been prepping to BBQ all week, but it's snowing here. Too hell with it... fire it up!

I think I'll go outside and watch the grass grow before the snow starts flying tonight

Fire suits and helmets mandated for safety crews after Juan "Fuego" Montoya ran his car into the back of the jet dryer at Daytona. 200 gallons of jet fuel, now that's a campfire... could've have roasted the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

I'm in 190th out of 210,000 after week one on FOX fantasy nascar, quite a bit better than my All-Time Greats Fantasy Team... maybe I should stick with what I know.
