T206 George Browne EPDG

Post by bowlingshoeguy on Fri Feb 17, 2012 8:13 pm

As we know G Browne, Chicago is a 150 only series and the G Browne is only found in Pied 350 Sovereign 350 and SC 350. Why no EPDG? From all indications I have read is that there is a possiblity that EPDGs were printed before the Piedmont 350s.

Here is the transaction dates for G Browne:

Cubs sign 2/16/09
Washington signs 5/5/09
CHWS sign 6/11/10

I find it curious that he has no EPDG.

Lee

EPDG can be found on the backs of players/150 subjects in Print Group one just not all of them. It is the same for all the assorted brands in this group. All Print Group one subjects can not be found with EPDG, Hindu or Old Mill.

Jim, Do the Assorted backs have any of the consistency of player selection like the backs with the Series numbers on them? It appears there selections are here or there with the cross over in series.

all the confirmed assorted backs can be found on T206Resource.com. They wont match up like the first 150 subjects from the flagship brands-Piedmont, Sovereign and Sweet Caporal.

The Sovereign 150 is the original 150 subjects and these are printed with Piedmont and Sweet Caporal. The first Hindu ad states collect all 150 but there are 102 Major Leaguers and 34 Southern Leaguers. You can get the exact numbers for EPDG and Old Mill from the site.
