Which PSA N172 Delahanty would you rather own?

These two Delahanty's went for about the same hammer price.

the result of this poll shows a total bias...we don't have enough slab collectors or registry guys on here.

Can I just say that while I absolutely agree the image on the bat pose is tremendous, I do strongly prefer the praying hands pose - I find it captivating.

I like the bat pose. Very menacing. Like he is staring down the photographer giving him a look that says if I have to stand still much longer I am going to beat you with this bat. I imagine it's the same look pitchers got when he came to bat.

Gotta admit...I like the contrast of Johns much better...but I think I also prefer the praying hands pose...and I'm not a religous man either!

The vote count is rather lopsided. So, rather than belabor the obvious--I agree with everyone else about the bat on shoulder--I'll just observe how intimidating that bat with the dark tip is. Was that typical for the era? I honestly don't know. It has a look about it that says, "The end of my bat is stained in blood. And it's yours. Good luck, dead man."

I like both poses about the same, both are very cool for different reasons.

Agreed. It isn't the pose that differentiates it for me. It's the all-important contrast on the O.J.s that makes all the difference to me.

The one where he is bent over into a lump isn't my favorite. Otherwise, I like all the poses. The throwing pose is pretty cool, actually. But as Brian says, contrast is key.

Just in case anyone who has 5 figures at any level to spend on a card of this profile wasn’t aware that major auction houses such as REA, SCP or Goodwin exist, and only use the BST of forums for huge purchases.

I guess everytime the T206 Wagner sold for a new high... thats bad business then? Someone bought it at a high and then sold it at an even higher price.
