Obak Uncut Sheet

In the latest Huggins and Scott they have a Obak uncut sheet with strange configuration of layout for cards. The bottom row being turned. With this evidence how do we now that other cards were not printed in this fashion. It sure seems that these cards had to be cut one row at a time.

It sure appears that the size of the sheet dictated how the cards were put on the sheet.

Kind of interesting that there are single, double and triple prints. Looks like the Weaver is a single print unless I'm not seeing another one on the sheet. The one I see is on the row that different from the rest.

There are 3 Weavers, they do note in the write up the 6 cards that were triple printed, I believe the rest were double prints.

Smart folks at Obak tobacco. Triple prints of stars Weaver, Suter, & Buddy Ryan, the 3rd printing of all in the lower left corner. (Maybe the red Cobb was printed like this on t206 sheets) Who are the other 3? Cannot locate them.

Anyone want to guess on final bid of this item? I am continually amazed at some of the stuff that comes up for auction. Jawdropping.

I guess that would confirm that the t207 sheet looked similar to the Obak sheet.

OK, it appears at least 2 sets had there cards printed vertically and horizontally. Obviously the sheets came in a pre-cut sheet, why won't you size your cards to maximize the number of cards per sheet?.

Is it possible that the T206 American Beauties were printed on a sheet of a different size (smaller) than the rest of the T206s, those having to narrow the borders.
