Gonzo Laptop Experiment

Post by jbonie on Sat Jul 31, 2010 7:30 pm

Hey Folks,

If you've noticed that I've been a bit quiet on the boards lately, it's because I'm in the process of selling my laptop and going it on my iphone alone. I will still try to check in regularly here, but it's gonna be a bit sticky for a while!

Thanks

That's the future....I use my iPhone 95% of the time, can't live without it now.

Mark,

How's the iphone4? Is the antenna bothering you or is that issue overhyped? I'm due for an upgrade in a couple weeks and the DroidX doesn't seem to appealing, so I've got to choose to stick with my 3G or upgrade to the 4. Any advice?

This one goes out to everyone driving behind Quan while he browses fullcount while driving on the freeway...

party time

Seriously though, I've been on full count and other boards on my iphone many times and find it very tiring. Get home on the big screen desktop mac and it's like kittens and rainbows and choirs singing, in comparison. I think it'll take a while and some major changes in the handheld browsing experience before I'd give up one for the other.

I know browsing forums on handheld devices can be very cumbersome. I've actually been looking into some forum apps to make browsing Full Count more iphone friendly. Will post here if/when I add any updates.

I have the 3GS from 2009 with the new OS 4.0.1 but am waiting for apple to come out with the white iPhone 4. For some reason it's taking them a very long time to perfect a white version?!?!? As for the problem they have with reception from what I hear from others is they
have no problems.

As for browsing FC, I am just used to the screen and just pinch out to see better.
Quan, I will check that app out.
