1923 Lou Gehrig Columbia Lions team card

I have a question regarding a transaction i made on a whim. It was in a lot of five on ebay. The sellers name is investco_global. When i recieved these cards i was pretty tigged off. It had Mickey Mantle's 1958 Topps #150 that i knew of and had recently sold a real one a few months back. Out of this lot 2 were authentic and the rest were copyright infringed. he had them as reprints haha. Well technically he was right. But, i know a reprint card from a homemade printer card.
In the photos they looked real so i bid on them. The one that threw me off was the 1923 Lou Gehrig card that he claimed to be Babe Ruth haha. I thought i had this guy. I knew it was Lou Gehrig's college card right before he went pro. But, i never seen this card before. Can someone varify this card for me?? Is this another phoney? It looks,feels,smells and has a cream color seems somewhat real. Other than there is no fading on it and it's from 1923. I have tried researhing it and i find notta thing on this card. I mean i see Lou Gehrig and his teammates. I just don't have any idea on this.
When i found they were fake a immediatly put a claim in with ebay and paypal. Paypal sided with the seller and i lost out $183.99. Even though the cards were fake and he listed them not correct "Babe Ruth" for Lou Gehrig is a big mistake. The guy even had 7 day money back return. I was within the seven days and still got shot down. Someone help me here. I need some advise on what to do next.

A scan of the Gehrig piece in question would be helpful. I used to own a number of original photos of Gehrig from his days at Columbia University.
