Questions about the 1932 U.S. Caramel Lindstrom card:
How many are known to exist? Have any of you seen one in person?
Guess on value? Any one got a scan?

Never seen one in person. I seem to remember Larry Fritsch as having one for sale when he was auctioning his card collection, but that was some time ago. I dont think there are more than 2-3 known...

fuzzy memory, but fritsch used to have at least 2. maybe he got the market cornered with those, i think there's less than 4 known...possibly the 2 or 3. i've only seen a scan.
edit: did a search and barry sloate also sold one in '99. email him he could send you a photocopy of the card.

I saw the first one that was brought out to the public. I forget what show it was that I saw it at and who the dealer was that was asking $1 million for it.

So what would one sell for today? Certainly there is a great deal of demand, but doesn't quite have the draw of a Wagner (or maybe even a Plank). My guess would be $150k - similar to an Old Mill Jackson.

Wasnt there an uncut panel of like 3 or 6 cards with this on it that someone was asking 2 million for? I seem to remember an ad in SCD in the early 90's with a picture of it. I would swear it was this card.

Assuming the big guns don't have one (Ireland, Louchios, Masson), and given the number of almost-complete sets out there, my guess is a PSA 3 / SGC 40 type card would go for 250+ Just a guess of course. I'd love to see one out in auction to see the bidding action!

I thought one of the major auction houses had one a few years back. Maybe 5 or 6 years ago.
