If you could pick one REA item to keep, which would it be?
Which REA item would you want?
To me, these are the cream of the crop in the REA auction. If you could choose one of them for your collection, which would it be?
For me it's the Creighton photo. The first superstar of the game and one of only two known photos that feature just him.

And for me...I had to say the T206 Cobb w/Cobb back. I love that card. I don't care if it's not the most valuable one, it's the coolest one to me. Then I'd follow that one by the T206 Wags.

LOT 53: Extraordinary Collection 1886-1889 N172 Old Judge Tobacco Cards (398 cards) - All SGC-Graded!
Upon closer reading, this lot looks superior (but likely of lesser numerical grade):
LOT 7: Extraordinary Collection 1886-1889 N172 Old Judge Tobacco Cards (394 cards)

I love that lot too - tons of subsets, rarities and variations jammed into that lot. It's also the lot that the featured PCL OJ came from. Wouldn't it be fun to sort through all those cards and build a massive N172 collection around it! It's gonna go for HUGE money.
From the list Jay provided, I'm gonna shock the world and go with the T206 Wagner.
Re: Which REA item would you want?
I have to join the T206 Wagner group, the holy Grail is tough to beat. If that was not on the list, I want the Johnson DRUM.

From that list and assuming I couldn't resell, I'd take the t210 Jackson.
My favs are the w600 Matty and Cobb however.

Good assumption, otherwise, I'm pretty sure that Wagner is going to get highest bid.

Re: Which REA item would you want?
I was trying to answer this question from the standpoint of which one would I want to keep for my collection. The more I tried to do that, the more I kept thinking of the only reason that I would want any of them would be for trade bait. Yeah, it would be cool to have the T206 Wagner for a little while, but then it would just become trade bait toward something that I would really want. The same thing holds true for all of those cards. All of them would be really cool to own for a little while, but none of them fit my collection.
So, I guess, my answer is "other"... in order to be true to the intent of your poll. In terms of what would I most like to have... the card that would be the most valuable trade bait, which would be the T206 Wagner - since it is so many people's holy grail.

I would have to say the Lot of 6 T205 Hindu's. I would love to have 6 toughies all at once, not to mention a Walter Johnson with that back! Very few people can boast that many T205 Hindu's in their set!

a couple years back a psa3 or sgc40 e90-1 jax would be 20-23k...and a 60 would be listed at 50k+.
a psa3 just ended in ML for around 15k.

Re: Which REA item would you want?
I went with Wags, just because he is very important and so rare, but Cobb/Cobb was tempting. Btw I am new to this board. Hello!
