T205 Backs Question

Could somebody give me a run down on rarity scale of T205 backs.
I was wondering if or how they parallel to T206 backs.

My observations. Hindu is by far the toughest. Drum next.

I recently spoke with Joshua Levine regarding this subject, because he has done A LOT of research on the subject. Here is the info he provided me:

common...no multiplier: Sweet Cap (either colors or factories), Piedmont 25, Polar Bear, Honest Long Cut
common...1.5x - 2x multiplier: Sovereign, Hassan (both factories)
common...2.5x - 3.5x multiplier: Cycle, American Beauty, Piedmont Fact. 42 (although a large find of both of these have hurt these values)
common 4x - 5x multiplier: Broadleaf (either color)
common 7x - 20x multiplier: Hindu and Drum (big range here)

Backs that command the highest premiums:

1) Hindu (I've always believed that the Hindu was tougher than the Drum)
2) Drum
3) Broad Leaf (Green or Black; about the same in terms of rarity)


Backs that command a very small premium, and in some cases, no premium:

1) American Beauty
2) Cycle
3) Piedmont 42 (Much, much easier to find than a T206 Piedmont 42)


Backs that command no premium:

1) Hassan
2) Honest
3) Piedmont 25
4) Polar Bear
5) Sovereign
6) Sweet Caporal

The recent Drum finds have really made the t205 Drum back look common relative to the Hindu back. I haven't been looking that hard but I can't remember the last time I saw t205 Hindu offered.

I had to have a drum back as to have all the t205 advertizing backs so about 3 years ago I paid alot for one PSA 2 Shean.If I was using a multiplier I would say 60X common price if I recall correctly. Now I could never get what I paid for it . On the other hand I do have two t205 Hindus and got those at a decent enough price SGC 10 Engle and SGC 40 Lennox. ( the picture I use for my Avatar or moniker?)

I agree with Turner and Jay that the T205 Hindu is tougher than the T205 Drum. Will be interesting to see how the Hindu lot w/Johnson in REA will do.

My guess is $10,000+

How about the blank backs? or blank fronts?
