If the seller is saying they don't know if it's real, then you can bet that isn't real.

Check out the seller's other items....a virtual hof of rare 19th century types. There's a 0% chance any of them are authentic.

#1 rule buying a raw prewar card....take the seller's word when he says it's a reprint.
