1911 t205 johnson is it real or fake please help

please let me know if it appears to be authentic or not, just got back into collecting and bought this at a auction thanks

Welcome to the Full Count forum! We'd be glad to help with your T205 Johnson, but it looks like you're having a bit of difficulty posting the pic. There's an image posting tutorial in the "Technical support and feedback" section towards the bottom of the forum that might help. Or, you can just email the scan to benfisher77(at)gmail.com and I'll post it for you.

Here are the scans. Based on the color of the borders and general look of the card, I'm pretty sure it's not authentic, but I'll let others chime in with their opinions. Looks like there's an area on the back (towards the bottom) that has been rubbed off, possibly where it once said "reprint".




For comparison, here's a scan of an authentic T205 Johnson:

Borders are way too big and the color is of the border along with the chipping and wear doesn't look good either. As always, an in hand look would tell all
