My Ebay account is locked (All Good Now)

I just wanted to let everyone know that my account is locked and I can not get into it. I only have one bid in and I am informing the seller. I received this email with the heading: MC010 Account Security Notice: Compromised Account - bowlingshoegiverouterguy

If one else has had a problem where you can not get in with your password (not authorized) and can not change it. Please let me know.

is it sniping software that caused the ip conflict? i've had 2 buying accounts locked the last couple years. since i registered them back in like 2000 (where you can put whatever name/address/contact info you want) i can't get it back because I'm not "John Painter in MA" or "Robert Fine in WA". Very frustrating!

Hope you get yours squared away asap...the ebay support staff are idiots...

I don't subscribe to any snipe services. I am going to try to call tomorrow, have ot go to work now.

to get back your account...this has happened to me once. Someone probably tried to get in to your account and Ebay locked it up. If someone keeps trying passwords, after a few times the account will automatically go in lockdown mode.
