Biggest Disappointments/Successes Empty Biggest Disappointments/Successes

The Riddler's biggest success was dragging their sad fanny out of the basement (thank you, Wahoos!).

In hitting, ARod and Ruth had off-seasons, with ARod batting .238 and Ruth at .258 (I shoulda traded him, while he still had value).

Other than Schilling, our starters didn't do much, with Bender leading our list of disappointments by giving up a league leading 41 HRs with a 4.86 ERA. Fortunately, he was able to maintain a reasonable W/L record at 11-13. With Ford at 10-14, Glavine at 10-11, and other starters no better; thanks goes to our pen! Grimes didn't do much, but Righetti (7-4), Tekulve (11-3), and Wilhelm (11-6) with even Ruth contributing a complete game win in his only start; these guys provided the help which was clearly needed.

Since we finished in a dead heat with everyone else in our league, I guess we all had some problems.

Looks like my philosophy of building my team worked out again. No way I am spilling the beans as to my secret. I plan to dominate until you guys figure out a way to beat me stir the pot

Hopefully we can get a few more people playing and have a solid 12 to 16 people playing. Then we can set up a keeper league. That would be fun

I think that if we played more often than once per year, we could generate additional interest

Yeah, but I bet the data entry with all of the players, settings, etc. is no joke.
Is there a way to share that load?

Actually, the data entry, etc is very easy. Only need to enter the team names, ballpark and manager preferences. The sim is pretty simple to run and set up once you learn how the operating system works. Some of it can be counter intuitive at first, but it's all breeze for me now. The takes about 2 minutes run a 154 game season for 8 teams. Not too much longer when we had 12 teams. 16 teams shouldn't take more than about 5 minutes to run a season.
