Alexandria, MN
Great article in the recent Sports Illustrated about Alexandria's third most famous resident (after the Behren brothers), Brock Lesnar.
Very accurate description of Alexandria also.
"Alexandria, Minn. a town approximately halfway between Fargo N.D. and Minneapolis and a million miles away from the UFC's base in Las Vegas, Alexandria is the kind of place where Carhartts outnumber Nikes and pickups outnumber cars, where six inches of snow is a light dusting, and a restaurant marquee on the main drag truimphantly announces "WE NOW SERVE PEPSI!". "
Lee and Jay, do you work out with Brock at his gym, i hear he is always looking for sparring partners.

I don't think Lesnar's gym is open to the public. The guy looks huge on TV, but when I am helping him and his wife at the store, he doesn't seem all that big standing next to me. We are pretty much the same height. He just a bit broader in the shoulders than me and I have a bigger belly. He's going down if he ever wants to get into a belly bucking contest.
I've heard rumors of this new fangled drink called Moutain Dew. I want to try that some time.

Can't argue too much with the description. You have to love business's that never update there signs. We use to have a Coca-Cola bottling plant in town, so it was a big thing when you could find a Pepsi years ago.

No way, Pepsi is best. They also forgot to mention that you get Hamms and Grain Belt at just about any bar. Try finding those beers anywhere else in the country.

Jay..... you can get those about anywhere in your neighboring state (WI). How about PBR and Schlitz?. Those are some good ol' cheap and yummy beers. They just introduced the original 60's formula for Schlitz beer within the last year. It's actually quite wonderful. I love my retro beers.
