Baseball Book Reviews Empty Baseball Book Reviews

Post by CobbSpikedMe Fri Oct 10, 2008 10:09 pm

Every now and then I see someone online ask if anyone can name some good baseball books. What do you all think about having a section here for book reviews? If we can that is (Ben?)

I'm not suggesting that anyone actually write some long book review, but if you've just finished a baseball book, you could put your thoughts down for everyone else to see. People could respond with their thoughts on the book if they have any, good or bad.

I know I'm always looking for another good baseball book and some reviews would help.

I think it's a good idea, and we absolutely could make it work. We already have a section for vintage card articles in the "Helpful information for Collectors" category; another could easily be added for book reviews.

If people were to write reviews, they wouldn't have to be long - a page or so would do. We could feature them on the main board for the first few days, and then have them moved to the book review archive after everyone's had a chance to read it (just a suggestion). Anyone want to take first stab at a review?
