Awesome Western Playground card Glen! I was in the running as well but fell short. Such a cool looking set and so tough to find (as you surely know).

Re: October's pick up...
beautiful western playground! there's one complete set intact, do we know how many examples of each card are out there? 3-5?
added the iron man to my subset (there's 5000+ examples of the mcginnity floating around?)...fun wiki-ing these lesser known hof'ers.

Wouldn't you know that the one T206 hofer I decide to collect en masse is the one that there's 5000+ copies floating around (IMM). I think I have 8 different backs.

And a couple auction wins...
One isn't prewar vintage, but I'll ask for your forgiveness for posting it. Mathews is a tough HOF rookie to find well centered.

Thanks Brian. I think it looks awesome myself. Just a bit of staining, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. That Lajoie is my favorite of all his cards. For some reason he doesn't have to many "appealing" poses....to me anyway.

Yeah nice Eric...
The E103 will always keep their value...and when you have a few hard-core collectors going after them, any E103 is a great catch.
I wonder if that guy from Okla. named Jamie (i think) is still trying to hoard every E103 card he can buy. I think he told me his collection ran up to 100 or more.
