Re: October's pick up...
I think Ruth had a rash when the picture was taken. I have to agree no Ruth is ugly.
What are E103 Lajoies going for? I owned one, think I got it from Ben, and sold it for I believe under $100, at least VG if my memory serves me right.
Here is my only pick Thanks to Eric, my count is up to 66 Cycle 460 backs:
Somthing goofy with the pic hosting.

Re: October's pick up...
lee i think a vg e103 lajoie would be around $1500-$1800 today
lee has 66 cycles, i have 16 hof'ers...lee knows 10x more about t206s than me, seems kind of unfair please sell lee those cycles he needs!

Re: October's pick up...
I had a feeling that you would say something that high. I try to keep scans of all the cards i own and have owned but don't seem to have a scan of the Lajoie I owned. Ben if you are reading did you own one at one time?
Thanks to Eric!!!!

I do own quite a few more T206s but my focus is on the Cycle 460's, I have 70 but 66 different.

No problem Lee. Glad I could help add another Cycle 460 to your collection.

Re: October's pick up...
very nice brown, looks great!
these will be the last show for awhile, i'm leaving on a trip tomorrow. the speaker is a little worse than i thought it'd be...MEH! tinker hands on knees could be my new favorite t206 pose.
famous last words from a N54 goodbye post (that lasted a couple months)...vaya con dios!

Yes, I definitely did own a E103 Lajoie at one point. It was more like fr/gd condition I think, but my memory is foggy (it was at least 5 years ago). One thing I do remember is that I sold/traded it WAY too cheap. E103's have really taken off in value over the past several years.

Re: October's pick up...
...And this one of Pat Donahue (the card catalogs and grading companies all say it is "Jiggs" Donahue, but that is incorrect - the card is of Pat Donahue, who was a catcher for the Red Sox and Jiggs' brother...I notified Bob Lemke and he says the change will be made in the SCD Standard Catalog)

Re: October's pick up...
Another addition to my 25 card collection, courtesy of Mile High. This was also my first win ever from them. I'm very happy with the card.

Re: October's pick up...
Thanks for the kind words Eric and Lee. You both have been a big help along the way. I'm down to 5 to go:
Harry Bay
Ty Cobb (Bat On Shoulder)
Ed Greminger
Dutch Jordan (Atlanta)
Willie Keeler (Batting)
Hopefully I'll be done soon. If anybody has a line on any of the cards above please let me know.
Thanks.

Re: October's pick up...
He probably bought it at the concessions stand, must have forgot his bat for the photo. Great card, T3's are one of my favorite issues.

Nice card Lee. Here is my latest from Mile High-- a pure impulse buy.
