D381 Bancroft

Post by fisherboy7 on Wed Jul 23, 2008 12:22 pm

I have this D381 Bancroft on the way as part of a recently completed trade. Excited about it! Great portraits in this set.

Ben,

Very nice Bancroft. If I remember correctly, the Fleischmanns are a lot tougher than the Fergusons, is that correct?

Thanks,

AndyH

Nice pick up Jerry, looks like a great VG. I love the red in those Red Sox, T202s.

Thanks Lee,
It is a high end 40, It just has a light crease down the middle, barely noticeable that brings the grade down.

Thanks Andy. I think it's the other way around actually. There isn't much difference between the two outside of a line of text. But the Fergusons are much tougher. Amazing photograpgy in this set, very detailed portraits of many of the aging deadball hofers. Even Matty is in the set! Never seen it. Look at the Evers:

ps. thanks Jerry

A couple Southern League error-cuts

Some more error cuts

A few yellowless cards (some may have been shown raw before) and a miscut:

A T207 quad cut:

More to come.
