My pick is this E104-3 Sam Crawford. I don't own it, but wish I did. Up until a few years ago when this one popped up, I didn't even know it existed. The type 3 Nadjas are so intriguing because only a handful of each subject exists, and with new discoveries still being made, the checklist may still be incomplete. Imagine a E104-3 Cobb or Matty, what monster cards those would be!

I'd have to put e107s at the top. They are rare, but unless you are trying to put the set together or looking for a certain player, getting a type card really isn't really difficult.

Hi again,

Over the past couple months I have become interested in printing errors. Some cards that I am reading about are the Boston t206s with no red ink. These cards confuse me a little bit as I am not sure when to decide if it is missing red or not. Some cards have an almost invisible light yellow ink where the red was supposed to be and these are easy to distinguish from normal cards. However, there also seems to be some t206s that contain a slight pink where the red was supposed to ...

Over the last serveral months, I've been monitoring sales of the T206 Shag Shaughnessy card. It's my favorite card in the T206 set, and I made it a mission to complete a small subset of Shaughnessy with the 3 back variations (Hindu, Piemdont 350, Old Mill (SL)).....though my obsession became a little more severe, when I found myself hoarding them. I've since sold off 3 of my extras (PSA 1, SGC 30, SGC 50), to diversify.

Applying Grades to Raw Cards

I have never quite understood why people apply grades to raw cards in auctions. To me it can do no good since it is so subjective. When I look at an auction with an obvious over grade applied it really raises question marks about the seller to me.

What I have always done with raw cards is provide scans of the front and back plus add description of the card and leave it up to the potential buyer to make his decision from that point.

My Beef of the day,
