I'll start us off with one of my favorite cards of all time (not mine), an N172 Old Judge Harry Wright. There are several Wright variations in the set, and I believe this is one of the scarcer ones (if not the scarcest). Anyone got one for sale/trade?

Can you believe it's already November? This year has flown by.

With that said, here's one of my new additions:

T211 Red Sun (courtesy of B&L Auctions)

I regretted getting rid of my first one (SGC 10 Nolley). These really don't come around all that often, and when they do, so many are looking for them, that prices have really taken off in the past year. I probably overpaid a little bit, but I wanted it.

And here is the Nolley that I once owned. I DON'T OWN IT ANYMORE. Just ...

My pick is this E104-3 Sam Crawford. I don't own it, but wish I did. Up until a few years ago when this one popped up, I didn't even know it existed. The type 3 Nadjas are so intriguing because only a handful of each subject exists, and with new discoveries still being made, the checklist may still be incomplete. Imagine a E104-3 Cobb or Matty, what monster cards those would be!
I'd have to put e107s at the top. They are rare, but unless you are trying to put the set together or looking for a certain player, getting a type card really isn't really difficult.

It amazes me that people still just them, but most people say stuff trumps all. Sorry, but for me, stuff does not trump my personals morals and ethics. Legendary, Doug Allen will never see a penny from me even if they have the one item I really want.

But he retired from hockey to focus on lacrosse, leading his Ottawa team to 2 Minto Cup championships.
This one looks pretty close, what do you say - real or fake?

I'm no expert on goudeys, but I'm gonna still say "FAKE" on this one because the card stock doesn't seem right, especially the way the creases look. Also, the red "big league chewing gum" advertising block lines up perfectly with the green background, which I've been told is a telltale sign of a reprint.
